Choc Chip Cookie Illness - Piccino Coffee Bar, San Francisco California

Purchased a chocolate chip cookie from them yesterday around 3 PM. Around 2+ hours later, I was going through projectile vomiting and an upset stomach. Only thing coming out of my body was water and cookies particulate.

It was warm and the chips in the chocolate chip cookie were melting in my mouth. I initially suspected it was a fresh cookie, but that wasn't the case. It was a warm day, and given how late in the afternoon it was, I suspect this cookie was there all day.

Every hour three times an hour, running to the bathroom.

Situation was so bad that at 4 AM. I woke up to chocolate and sugar, shooting up with stomach juices into my nasal pharyngeal area. Screaming and pain at saline wash out the chocolate sugar from behind my nose.

I then packed myself up to the hospital for treatment. Walked in around 5:30 AM.

Ended up dehydrated and in tachycardia. Needed IV drip. Needed a whole bunch of blood work from an emergency department.
