My elderly dad ate the “safe to eat raw” sugar cookies and got violently ill. He ate a small bite of the raw cookie dough. The baked cookies were overcooked. He ate them yesterday afternoon and by midnight, he was suffering from vomiting and diarrhea. He never had chills or a fever.
