Horrible, horrible experience for my girlfriend! She was raised in Chicago but currently works in Hong Kong so when she comes to visit she always orders the beef with hot peppers before her 15hr flight back, so like usual she order the beef on 1/6/2019 at 10:45am before her flight! About 4hrs into the flight is when the symptoms kicked in! Which included fever, vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, extremely fatigued! Now anyone who has ever had food poisoning has probably had it in the comfort of their own home! NOT In her case, she managed to get it on a plane with 11hrs left on the flight! The poor girl had to deal with all these symptoms around a group of strangers no I was there to help! I can't even begin to imagine how she must have felt! Then when I call the location of portillo's the Manger could not have been any ruder by denying the fact that it was not portillo's that had in fact gotten her sick because it had not been 24hrs yet! He had also mentioned that if the beef was not eaten immediately the risk of food poisoning get Higher (coming from the Portillos manager) also when it comes to meat product it can take up to 30 minutes for the symptoms to kick in! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting
