Quaker Cereal Recall Alert - Target, New York

2 years ago reported by user-kmfw4528 business

Quaker Oats, Target, Hutchinson River Parkway, The Bronx, NY, USA

815 Hutchinson River Parkway, 10465 New York, United States

I went to Target today to stock up on Quaker Oats Granola Cereals. It was in September 2023 that I bought 5 boxes of the Quaker cereal. As I was about to pay, the cashier told me there was a recall of Quaker products and placed the cereal boxes aside. If the recall was initiated in September 2023, why are the Quaker products still on the shelf in Target and maybe elsewhere? That concerns me greatly, so, I threw away the remaining two boxes of Quaker Oats cereals I have at home in the garbage. Thank God I did not get sick. | Symptoms: Something else

This is very worrying, and a huge error by Target. Did you ask to talk to the manager of that specific Target store? I suggest you do so ASAP, there is NO reason Target should keep a recalled product on the shelves. It's great that the cashier knew about the recall and pulled those products aside, BUT it should not be up to individual cashiers to remember to catch it!
