I had lab confirmed raw oyster food poisoning back in April 10 2024. The health department asked me to share my labs with them, and I did with the agreement that they would share with me their report after having inspected the location where I got sick. When I asked for the report, they told me I had to go and apply through open records. When I applied through open records, they had asked to have things in the report redacted, and then instead they asked to have the whole report sealed. The CITY OF AUSTIN sent the case to the AG office and they agreed that the record could be sealed so I’m not allowed to have it even though I’m the person that got sick. However, the way I read the law if they have shared any of that with another party, then I am allowed access to it as well. They shared the inspection results with the restaurant. So I have no idea how to go about getting a copy of the Records, which would include all my phone calls to them and our phone conversations as well as the inspection and anything else like oyster tag numbers, etc. | Symptoms: Other
