Mexican Food Poisoning Nightmare - San Jose Mexican Restaurant, Lexington South Carolina

9 years ago reported by user-mcxm4286

San Jose Mexican Restaurant, Northpoint Drive, Lexington, SC, United States

115 Northpoint Drive, Lexington, 29072 South Carolina, United States

I ate dinner with my husband late one Friday after moving in our new place. After I went to bed I woke up several times sweating with my stomach rolling. I knew I hadn't overeaten and wasn't feeling sick earlier that day so I went to the bathroom to get a cold cloth for my face. When I got up I knew I was going to be sick and the way my stomach felt it was going to be coming from both ends. I vomited violently several times until my muscles were cramping and there was absolutely nothing left in my stomach. The rest of the day my throat was raw and I had severe nausea and diarrhea. I was able to hold down a little ginger ale and crackers much later that evening. When my husband heated up his leftovers I felt sick all over again just from the smell alone. I will more than likely never be able to enjoy Mexican food again after this | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, Sweating
