Ocean Swim Illness: Symptoms - Water, Sayulita Nayarit

We arrived in Sayulita after spending 5 weeks in Punta de Mita. We prepare all meals at the Airbnb and take all precautions with hand washing, using purified water, using microdyne, etc. (and we are vegetarians so it wasn’t from meat or seafood). We had no problems until 3 days after arriving in Sayulita. We all swam in the ocean and 3 of the 4 of us ended up with severe diarrhea, vomiting, chills, and stomach cramps. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Chills
