Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, HeadacheSuspected source: scallops
Onset: Less than 4 hours
Duration: 12 to 24 hours
Sick: Me
Additional information: I only took a few bites of a risotto dish with seared scallops when something seemed off, and I wasn't enjoying it. So I stopped eating it. While I waited for my companion to finish their entree I started to feel ill and within half an hour I had to leave the restaurant. I had stomach pains, felt dizzy and had chills, and by the time I got home, I had severe stomach pains, a fever, and diarrhea. I took the remainder of the meal home, assuming it was just my dislike for the dish and someone else could eat it but, by the time we got home in an air-conditioned car, the dish had spoiled and smelled terrible, like bad fish. That seems too quick. I spent 2 days ill, unable to eat, with continued stomach cramping and diarrhea. I am questioning if this was food poisoning. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Dizziness
