Pizza Tastes Different, Sick - Schlotzsky's Deli, New Bern North Carolina

On December 21st, 2017, I went to Schlotzsky's and bought cheese pizza. When I got home and ate the pizza, I told my daughter the sauce tasted different from what it usually tastes like. It didn't taste bad; just different. I ate half of it and a little while later I was sick as could be. The next morning, I went to Urgent Care and was diagnosed with food poisoning. I have to get IV fluids and medications. I am now stuck with a doctor bill for $336 from the treatment due to this. Schlotzsky's gave me a refund for my food and said they didn't believe I got food poisoning from their food. Really? Then why would you give me a refund??? The manager was very rude and I told him I am going to call corporate. He said they are franchised so they can't do anything about it. Then he hung up on me. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
