I had a bowl of Lucky Charms cereal last Thursday night, 6/23. I remember this clearly bc I had a clinic appointment earlier that day and typically save eating sweets for the upcoming weekend. I am a recovering leukemia patient. I have to be very aware of any changes in stool/bowel movement. My family was aware of the previous reports involving lucky charms cereal back in April however thinking sufficient time had lapsed they bought the last two boxes just this month about two weeks ago. I had one bowl of cereal with whole milk on Thursday night. And by Friday, next morning, I had a very loose/watery stool. I made a note of it in case it was something I ate since my oncology team also needs this information. However symptoms persisted with mainly diarrhea over the weekend and into today. I do not have a sudden need to use the bathroom right after eating which is a relief but when I do eventually get the urge to go it’s very sudden and painful. Today I had another clinic appointment and reported this to the nurse team who ordered a stool sample for tomorrow. The consistency has slight improved from completely watery to just loose/mushy as of today, 6/27. | Symptoms: Diarrhea
