Ate the chicken shawarma wrap Saturday afternoon and symptoms began Monday.Have been sick for 10+ days, needed to be hospitalized for fluids and further testing. Tests came back positive for campylobacter, common bacteria from undercooked chicken that typically show symptoms 2-5 days after eating. Currently on antibiotics and still experiencing symptoms of food poisoning, it’s been a long recovery process and I’m still being monitored by doctors at the hospital.
Had gotten sick eating the same meal once before from this place but decided to give it another shot. Granted the first time was a 24hour recovery, but I guess I should have known better. Lesson learned, I will NEVER go back. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea
