Tikka Masala Illness Outbreak - Spice 6, Washington District of Columbia

6 years ago reported by user-tfptx899 business

Spice 6, 6th Street Northwest, Washington, DC, USA

740 6th Street Northwest, Washington, 20001 District of Columbia, United States

On Monday October 28th I purchased lunch. I got a bowl of yellow rice, a meat that was either chicken or lamb (I forget which), tikka masala sauce, chickpeas, cilantro, yogurt sauce, tamarind sauce. Within 3-4 hours I started vomiting. Vomiting initially subsided but then came back with a vengeance and I vomited up the whole meal. Had terrible cold sweats, shivering, nausea, headache, muscle weakness, stomach pains for a day and a half. Worse, my colleague in office also ate there the next day and herself got food poisoning. This place must be investigated. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Weakness, Sweating, Stomach Pain
