Salmon and veggies,
I ate salmon and zesty pearl couscous w/ spring vegetables Thursday afternoon September 7,2023. Later that day I began to feel ill. Over the next few hours and throughout the night I felt stomach cramping and the urge to vomit. The next day I experienced continued stomach pain as well as cramping and vomiting. I tried to eat crackers to calm my stomach along with drinking water and neither would stay down and vomiting ensued. The rest of the day I vomited several times as I tried to hydrate myself. Each time I tried my stomach would cramp and I would experience gas either through burping or flatulence followed by vomiting. The following day I was finally able to keep ginger ale down but still experienced cramping and gas . I finally went to the er for treatment. I brought a stool and sample, and was told that there was no way to determine where the contamination occurred. Even though online I read blood and stool samples as well as testing of the contaminated food could reveal the source. I’m going to see my primary care physician to follow up as I feel the visit to the er was less that’s helpful in determining the source , if for no other reason than to alert the store so they could take the necessary precautions in the future to prevent this type of thing from happening. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Flatulence, Stomach Pain, Gas, Burping, Other, Cramps
