Kids Sick After Cereal - Stop & Shop, North Smithfield Rhode Island

3 years ago reported by user-hvdg4518 business

Stop and shop, Smithfield Road, Woonsocket, RI, USA

111 Smithfield Road, North Smithfield, 02896 Rhode Island, United States

My 8 year old consumed the limited edition St. Patrick's day Lucky Charms cereal for breakfast. A few hours after eating, he said he felt really, really full (which was unusual for him). The next day he vomited. This was followed by 3 more days of vomiting, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. He wound up at the local children's hospital as we thought he may have had appendicitis but they ruled that out. Before learning that there were reports of Lucky Charms making people sick, I asked my wife if she thought it was the Lucky Charms. Once I heard these reports, it all made sense. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps
