Elderly Illness from Sandwich - Subway, San Angelo Texas

8 years ago reported by user-kjtd5839 business

Subway, Knickerbocker Rd, San Angelo, TX 76904, United States

3016 Knickerbocker Road, San Angelo, 76904 Texas, United States

My 86-year-old father eight a 6 inch turkey sandwich for lunch and woke up in the middle of the night with vomiting and horrible diarrhea. Had to be admitted through the ER at Shannon hospital. I encourage everyone to not eat shiny meat or any sandwich with shredded Lettuce as it offers multiple surfaces for contamination. Someone may have come to work sick or come to work feeling poorly and inadvertently cross contaminated the food supply.. I also encourage everyone to go to the San Angelo health department website and look at the ratings given the restaurants in San Angelo. I will not eat at any restaurant that scores less than 90. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
