Improper food holding temperatures, vermin. The inspector observed a tray of roasted groundnut mixed with rodent droppings. The eatery’s operator voluntarily disposed of the adulterated food. The inspector also found rodent droppings on a food contact surface, a kitchen cooking tray.
Other evidence of rodents included:
- An accumulation of rodent droppings on the kitchen floor beneath the ware washing machine, on the floor at the food storage area and on the floor behind the cooking stove.
- Observed 300-plus fresh and old rodent droppings throughout the food facility.
