after i ate my food i went to sleep right away i was sleep for about 6 hours when i woke up my stomach was cramping really bad i thought maybe it was because i went to sleep after eating so maybe my food didnt digest properly so i took some pepto bismol and i went back to sleep the following day 7/30/19 i woke up and my stomach pain was even worse , i had a fever and i was nauseous and i started to have diarrhea like crazy and i could hardly walk my husband suggest i go to the er its was super hot this day so i told him not yet its way too hot ill go once the sun goes down and its cooler i waited till about 7 pm and i went to the er they did blood test,took a stool sample, and urine sample, and i had to get a ct scan of my stomach and pelvic ,upon the drs looking at my ct scan they saw i had an infection of my intestines =colitis which is caused by bacteria at the time they didnt know what type of bacteria because it takes a few days for the results of my stool sample so i was admitted in the hospital at 3am on 7/31/19 once my stool sample test came back it was found that i had gotten food poisoning from the bacteria shigella which is hard to treat because its resistant to a lot of antibiotics i had to stay in the hospital on an iv until 08/06/19 | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Stomach Pain, Cramps
