Closure Date: 10/04/2022Cockroach infestation. The inspector saw several live roaches on the floor, a dead roach on a prep table that had food on it, more dead roaches inside the walk-in cooler, a sticky trap with dead roaches on a shelf under a grill and cockroach droppings on the walls in several areas. The owner told the inspector he doesn’t get regular pest control. Two of the three critical violations were related to roaches, while the third was for a container of strawberries being in direct contact with ice in an ice machine. Additionally, fries had been left at room temperature to thaw and the owner said that was standard practice, there was residue in the ice machine, and numerous areas needed cleaning.
