Strep Scare Post-Dining - Texas De Brazil, Miami Florida

Texas de Brazil - Miami Dolphin Mall, Northwest 12th Street, Miami, FL, USA

11401 Northwest 12th Street, Miami, 33172 Florida, United States

Have eaten here before however this time the food was way saltier than usual. Within and hour of leaving my throat became itchy the next day I woke up with a full blown sore throat which later that night would make me go to the ER. Turns out I had contracted a Severe case of strep throat. The more I think about it some of their practices aren’t sanitary. When the slide the sausage for example off the knife while touch your plate . While it may seem like no big deal when you think about the knife touching multiple plates of people eating you could easily catch something. I will not be returning . | Symptoms: Sore Throat

Strep throat isn’t caught that way. It’s airborne.

Hi, thanks for your comment. TIP: According to the CDC, while this bacteria is spread mostly through respiratory droplets and direct contact, there are rare cases where people can spread group A strep bacteria through food that is not handled properly.
