Severe Salad Sickness: Diarrhea - Texas Roadhouse, West Haven Connecticut

7/16/26 - Seated at 6:45pmEST. Ate dinner between 7:15p-7:45pm. Both husband and I had meals with a side salad. Husband had Caesar Salad, I had House Salad. At 8:40pm, husband had watery and uncomfortable diarrhea. At 12:40am, I had a severe attack of both diarrhea and vomiting. Laid out on the bathroom floor, I passed out and was then unable to even rise, and husband surrounded me with towels and blankets where I remained for 6 hours. Just woke to still feel stomach pain and anticipate more diarrhea. 7/17/26 - Advised to go to urgent care in the morning. Prescribed anti-nausea meds and told to load up on electrolytes, rest, and keep cool. My pulse was extremely low, which may have been a combination of dehydration and the electrolyte imbalance. Felt unwell and my lower belly was sore all day. Did eat some small, bland things in addition to hydrating and finally had my first #2 at 10:30pm (although I had a constant urge all day). As expected, it was again watery diarrhea. My husband feels recovered, at least. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Dehydration, Weakness
