Ribeye Meal Causes Illness - Texas Roadhouse, Rochester New York

1 year ago reported by user-bpnv7181 business

Texas Roadhouse, West Ridge Road, Rochester, NY, USA

3065 West Ridge Road, Rochester, 14626 New York, United States

I dined in here last night around 9:00pm, I had the ribeye and mashed potatoes and bread. Today at work, I started getting a body ache, fever, chills, diarrhea, and complete loss of appetite. These are just a few of my symptoms. Can someone do something about this? This is draining me of my energy and causing me to do poorly in school and work. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Fever, Chills, Loss of Appetite, Body Ache

Noroviruses are a group of related viruses. Infection with these viruses causes an illness called gastroenteritis, an inflammation of the stomach and intestines.

Norovirus, sometimes referred to as the winter vomiting disease, is the most common cause of gastroenteritis. Infection is characterized by non-bloody diarrhea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Fever or headaches may also occur. Symptoms usually develop 12 to 48 hours after being exposed, and recovery typically occurs within one to three days. Complications are uncommon, but may include dehydration, especially in the young, the old, and those with other health problems.

Hi, thanks for your comment. TIP: According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), symptoms of food poisoning can range from mild to severe and vary considerably depending on the contaminant. The most common signs of food poisoning are nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea. However, symptoms may differ among different types of foodborne illnesses. Sometimes the symptoms can be severe and some foodborne illnesses can even be life-threatening. Have a good afternoon!
