Severe Reaction: Caramel Cheesecake - The Cheesecake Factory, Buford Georgia

I ordered breakfast tacos and a slice of the salted caramel cheesecake through DoorDash the evening of November 25, 2020 (the day before Thanksgiving). The eggs tasted good. However , the caramel was thick and had a weird texture. Within an hour, I was experiencing stomach pains and diarrhea. I went to bed feeling bad. Four hours later I woke up in a cold sweat, drank some water and immediately developed severe chest tightness and difficulty breathing which required me to call the paramedics. Their assessment was food poisoning. Over the next 3 hours, and after a lot of hyperventilating, I threw up everything I had eaten. I woke up the next morning feeling lethargic, but fine. I don’t know if it was the eggs, chorizo, avocado or caramel, but I will not return. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Sweating, Stomach Pain
