I bought ground beef 2 days before the sell-by date and was immediately hit with a strong, foul smell when I opened it.At first, I didn't realize it was spoiled because the entire meat section already must have been off- since they all looked identical… After opening it and noticing how bad it was, I went to another supermarket and could immediately tell—just from the packaging—how much fresher their meat was.
This is now the third spoiled product I've gotten from this store.
At this point, this is clearly a storage or handling issue. Selling meat like this is unacceptable.
