Food Safety Report: The Habit Burger Grill, Antelope Drive, Layton, UT, United States.

It was sometime in January of 2016 that I got food poisoning from this restaurant. I ate their Veggie burger on wheat bread. About a few hours later I started feeling queezy. All I remember was returning home, going straight to the bathroom (on the way, I had walked past my mom and briefly told her I'm not feeling well), lifted up the toilet seat and sat down. I started dry heaving and started to sweat really bad. I then remember feeling light headed and the next thing I knew, I woke up with my head next to the bath tub with all of my family surrounding me. As soon as I came to, I immediately vomited on myself. Throughout the rest of that night I kept blacking out and then vomiting the second I'd gain conscience. It lasted several hours, but once I had gotten everything out of my system, I then realized how grateful I am that I let someone know I was ill. Apparently, the first time I had blacked out that night, I hit the back of my head really hard on the edge of the tub and if I wasn't found that night, I would have choked and died on my vomit. So nite only am I telling you my awful story of food poisoning, but I'm also going to warn other's of dangers that can happen. So please tell people when you are ill. Eat safe and keep other's aware. :) | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting

I had a very similar experience at another restaurant. I was told in the ER that if your symptoms are very severe you can trigger a "vagral" nerve response in your body and pass out. It was very scary!
