Spinach Smoothie Sickness - Trader Joe's, Seattle Washington

4 years ago reported by user-mmqwt979 business

Trader Joe's, Queen Anne Avenue North, Seattle, WA, USA

1916 Queen Anne Avenue North, Seattle, 98109 Washington, United States

I purchased bagged organic baby spinach from our local store. I don’t eat very many different things in my diet due to allergies. I had the spinach in a smoothie with which is just frozen peaches, frozen strawberries, almonds, water, and spinach. I had cramping and extreme diarrhea. I didn’t know it was the spinach at first. I ate rice the next day. When I felt a little better I tried a smoothie again and wham it started again. Then 2 days later, my husband tried the spinach and problem solved, he got sick. He said I found out why you keep getting sick, it’s your spinach! Stop eating it. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Other, Cramps
