organic broccoli floretsI ate the packaged organic broccoli florets. Yesterday was October 5th, 2020 and the package had best if used by October 05, 2020.
It also is stamped TFRG 263B07A 19:17.
I steamed the entire bag. Because they slightly overflowed the pot and steamer basket I was using, I did eat two of the florets uncooked and steamed the rest for 10-15 minutes.
I ate all of the cooked broccoli. That would have been around 7:00 pm. A few hours later, I felt bloated. I knew that something was “off.” I felt a chill and bundled myself up in my bed and commented to my girlfriend that I felt like I needed to vomit (an extremely rare occurrence for me; it has been years).
About an hour later (around 11:00 pm), I vomited aggressively. About 20-30 minutes, I vomited a second time. After that, I was confident that I had evacuated the contents of my stomach. I suspected that I wasn’t out of the woods.
About an hour-and-a-half later (around 1:00 am), I experienced diarrhea. Around 2:30 am, I experienced it a second time.
I slept well after that and aside from a scorched esophagus, I feel fine. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Bloating, Chills
