Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, ChillsSuspected source: Chicken and Rice entree on UA2023
Onset: Less than 4 hours
Duration: Several days
Additional information: A few hours after meal. Felt uneasy and intense chills/sweats. My first thought was I hope I don’t throw up on this plane. It was already 11PM when we ate, so I took a pill to help me sleep. I woke up about 5 hours later, went to the bathroom and threw up in the sink.
I didn’t land in the home town until 24 hours from start of flight. When I got home I committed a lot and had diarreah.
The thing that was odd, was I remember snelling a weird smell in the air as they were serving the meal. I thought y myself, I hope nothing is wrong with the food, but I was hungry. I’ve flown well over 500,000 miles and never had this problem on a flight.
Extra note. It Audi looked like the foil on my dish had been removed and reapplied. In retrospect, I wish I had rejected the meal. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Chills
