Ice Suspected, Mixed Symptoms - Urban Plates, San Diego California

1 year ago reported by user-wxzww761 business

Urban Plates, 8707 Villa La Jolla Drive, La Jolla, CA, USA

8707 Villa La Jolla Drive, San Diego, 92037 California, United States

First symptom appeared Friday May 24. A party of 7 all met to have lunch at Urban Plates. 5 known people from our party became sick. One known person did not get sick at all. The 7th person in our party was sick with sore throat and headache over that weekend but no GI symptoms. We did not share food items. We did not have any food items in common. We didn't have any beverages in common. The only thing the majority of the sick people had in common was ice in the drinks. However we had 1 sick person who had no beverage or ice and still was sick with vomiting and diarrhea. The one known person who did not get sick at all did not have ice in his Kambucha. Something significant is going on at this establishment. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache
