Spinach Dip Illness Alert - Walmart Supercenter, Grapevine Texas

9 years ago reported by user-hrwdw814 business

Walmart Supercenter, West State Highway 114, Grapevine, TX, United States

1601 West State Highway 114, Grapevine, 76051 Texas, United States

Bought at midnight, brought home and ate several tablespoons. By 8am the next morning I was woken up with severe abdominal pain, diarrhea and dehydration. Unable to move off of bathroom floor when not on the toilet. Lasted 30 minutes. Then got another bout 1 hour later which lasted 15 minutes. Still not 100 % first 24 hours (not thinking straight, light-headed, nauseous, dizzy and tired. Had to take off work 2nd 24 hours as still have nausea and pain and trying to work it out of my system. Using the BART diet (bananas, apple sauce, rice and toast) for the 2nd day in a row now. Dip was NOT expired. I called the walmart where I bought it and immediately let them know they may need to pull the rest of the spinach dip as well as anything else susceptible in the deli refrigerated case if the temp was too low or a shipment was left on a truck for too long. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Dehydration, Dizziness, Lightheaded, Nausea
