I used half of a large package of boneless skinless chicken thighs with an expiration date of 11/28/2024 yesterday to make slow cooker peanut miso chicken. I included carrots, sweet potatoes, and frozen peas in the recipe. Six hours later, I woke up with symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. I also had chills, headache, and dizziness and at times thought I would pass out. Given the nature of my other meals/ingredients that day all being things I’ve eaten recently with no reactions, I believe that the chicken thighs may have given me food poisoning. I also ensured the chicken thighs were kept cold after I purchased them. I did not stop vomiting for two hours, until no remnants of dinner remained. It was a very bad night and I thought I should report it. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Chills, Headache, Dizziness
