I went to Whataburger on Spencer Hwy about 1pm on Friday, Jan 2nd. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. No drink. I waited a long time and the girl at the drive thru said they forgot my order and they were working on it. Then they brought it out and added an apple pie to the order. I ate it while I was driving home, but before I could finish the sandwich I started having severe pain in the stomach. I was on a phone call and told the person I had to go I think I got food poisoning from Whataburger. I then started with projectile vomiting for hours as I tried to drink water because the roof of my mouth was burning from stomach acid. Even brushing my teeth caused me to vomit. I had tremors and was freezing cold. I became dehydrated very quickly, and then I started with abdominal cramps and diarrhea which I still have and it is day three. I was very exhausted and could barely lift my head from the pillow and I kept passing out. On Saturday my neighbor was able to take me to the hospital at Methodist Clear Lake. They confirmed food poisoning, did a CT of the abdomin, X-ray of the chest, blood work, and sent prescriptions to the pharmacy. It is now Sunday. I can only keep down water. I am still getting up for diarrhea 3-5 times an hour. On Friday I called Whataburger and spoke to a male who said he was the manager named Mike. I told him I got food poisoning and he said, "What do you want me to do about it?" I told him I was going to call the health department. I had thrown out the package in the picture below and the garbage still contains the initial vomit because I couldn't make it to the toilet and had projectile vomiting into the sink. As the day wore on and I was exhausted, I would vomit into the trash can by the bed because I couldn't hardly move. Each time I turned on my side or sat up I would vomit or dry heave. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Dehydration
