Vegan Mix-Up: Real Hot Dogs - Wrigleyville Dogs, Chicago Illinois

1 year ago reported by user-ngkz6234 business

Wrigleyville Dogs, North Clark Street, Chicago, IL, USA

3737 North Clark Street, Chicago, 60613 Illinois, United States

Ordered 3 “VEGGIE” dogs (vegan hot dogs) confirmed all 3 were real hot dogs. Only took a bite of one but have been vegan for 10+ years and have been throwing up since. I’m sure it was an accident, but I have eaten from here before and this has not happened. One of the few places that offers veg options in the area..Just be extra careful…! | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting

so that's not a food safety issue that's a subconscious issue. why would meat make you throw up unless you have an allergy? you definitely overreacted

Hi, thank you very much for the time. While it's true that consuming meat after a long period of vegetarianism or veganism can cause discomfort or illness in some individuals, it's also possible that the symptoms experienced could be due to a foodborne pathogen. However, without more information, it's difficult to determine the exact cause. It's always important to ensure that food is prepared and handled safely to minimize the risk of foodborne illness. Have a good day! Iwaspoisoned Support.
