Ate here around 2:30pm on 2/23/18. I ordered teriyaki chicken finger plate but when I made it home my order was wrong, instead my chicken fingers were tossed in mild sauce but I went ahead and ate it. My friend also had teriyaki bone in wings which I had one of those but it didn’t taste too good so I didn’t finish eating it. Symptoms started around 9pm that night and got worse during the night. Nine hours later, my husband was nauseous, vomiting, diarrhea, chills, fever, abdominal pain, and extreme joint pain as well. I only have headaches, nausea, abdominal pain, and a sore throat. All of these symptoms are signs of salmonella poisoning. I do not want to have to leave a bad report. However, this is no joke. Thankfully we are young with good health so it should pass within the week. I do not believe that Zaxbys is following the rules and protocols to ensure the health of its customers. The next morning im woken up out of my sleep by extreme stomach pain. The pain was so. Bad i couldn’t walk , barely talk , nor could i lay down. I tried to take all types of pain killers thinking it was my period. But i realized that the pain wasn’t coming from there but more so just above my belly button.
