We went to Zaxby's today at 2:31pm, it is now 3:25pm. We were planning to go out shopping but within 15 minutes of eating, I had to rush home because I felt nauseous and suddenly I had to go to the bathroom really bad. I had the 6 chicken finger plate with crinkle fries, toast, coleslaw, sweet tea, and BBQ sauce. I have no idea which of these items gave me FOOD POISONING, but I am really annoyed that my plans for the day are ruined because these damn restaurants can't keep their food untainted. Are the employees washing their hands? Is the coleslaw past due? Is the BBQ sauce old? Food Poisoning - which causes my diarrhea - is caused by an overgrowth of bacteria due to 1) poor hygiene of employees, 2) poor cleanliness of equipment and tools, 3) allowing sauces and salads - such as coleslaw - get old, be served past a due date, or get warm from improper refrigeration. I'm doing a charge back because that's the only way these people will learn to do better is if it comes out their wallet. PAY ATTENTION Zaxby's! Your customers don't like to get sick from eating your food! My symptoms: So I had liquidy splattery diarrhea and painful stomach cramping (sounds funny, ha ha, but it's not) and as I write I don't know if I'll be able to go to work tomorrow because I have what we politely call around here, a "stomach virus". It could even have been the sweet tea or the ice that caused the food poisoning because it's common for restaurants to not properly clean or monitor this equipment. The health department needs to go over this place with a fine tooth comb. I'm so annoyed right now!
