Cockroach infestation. Visiting in response to a foodborne illness complaint, the inspector found about seven live roaches near the cook line and in a cabinet below the soda fountain, and more than 10 dead roaches in the same cabinet. There was one other critical issue: Food inside three refrigerator units was at unsafe temperatures. Among the seven lesser violations, there was mold inside the ice machine, and liquid waste was backing up in a floor sink that the manager said they couldn’t repair until the landlord approved.
