Hummus I was the sickest, b/c I had most of the hummus, my hubby had a few bites and got slight cramping/diarrhea, but was fine after that. My chills and ache bones started within half hour of eating it, then I had diarrhea, severe cramping, nausea, vomiting, slight fever and headache for 2 days, today is the third, and I am just now able to hold down food. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Cramps, Headache, Chills, Body Ache

I'm sorry that you and your family got sick, but there's almost no chance that it was from that meal. I saw your post on google while looking them up online since I know that they relocated. This is my favorite place to go when I'm in the area. Their food is very good. The trailer that they had previously (when you went) was super clean and so is this new restaurant location. I took the food to go but you can see from the counter that the kitchen is spotless and well organized. As someone that has state certification for the required food handling course for my company in New Jersey, I can tell you that based on your symptoms, you and your family most definitely got food poisoning elsewhere, up to 14 days prior to the meal you mention. Believe it or not, food poisoning can take up to 30 days to manifest and if it were to happen with something like hummus, which would be made in large batches, there would have been a lot of people affected by it. Again, sorry you went through all of that but I highly doubt that it was from that meal. Eat safe. Be healthy.

Hi D thanks for the comment, however - If the contamination is physical or chemical, symptoms onset can be within minutes, if it is biological it can be as fast as 30 minutes (staph). So yes, it is possible it was from food from that location.
