On Friday evening on the 28th after a really long and grueling day at work (i have a very physically tiring warehouse job), I decided to get 2 bacon cheese sliders, 2 jalapeño cheese sliders, and a smoked cheddar slider with a medium order of onion chips. I ate it when i got home and didn’t feel anything was awry. I went to sleep 2 or 3 hours afterwards.
Woke up the next morning and my stomach felt a tad upset, which progressed throughout the morning hours but was still manageable enough that i didnt think i would need to call off work for it. However in the early afternoon it really started getting bad and once 1:00 PM hit I started throwing up, only an hour before I had to leave for work. Keep in mind i ate nothing in the morning bc of my upset stomach and i ate nothing for at least 8 hours before i got the white castle, so that HAD to have been the culprit. Was forced to call off on super short notice with a fever of 101. Threw up on 11 different occasions throughout the day. Almost every 45 minutes without fail until I finally managed to fall asleep at around 8:00 PM. Next morning still felt a little bad but was able to get up and function at work with minimal difficulty.
Now I’ve gone to the Colerain White Castle before and this has never happened before so I will chalk this up to a slip up by this particular location but it is definitely an ENORMOUS mistake to make. This experience has definitely soured my view of this restaurant and the White Castle brand as a whole. I do not see myself returning to one of their stores at any point in the foreseeable future. You simply cannot be poisoning your customers as a fast food and, even more importantly, as a guest service franchise. They really need to run a tighter ship and I truly hope this has not and will not happened to any other customers at this restaurant, or ANY restaurants for that matter. | 症状: 腹泻, 发烧, 恶心, 呕吐
