on our way home. All five (5) of us ordered chicken, but only three (3) of the five (5) ordered a milkshake. The three (3) who ordered the milkshake fell violently ill, with the exact same symptoms and at the same time, exactly thirty-six (36) hours later. They range in age from 12 - 80 years old. It is now four (4) days since the onset of symptoms, and they have not subsided. The two of us who had a soft drink in lieu of the milkshake are fine. Given we spent the weekend together, traveled together, and ate the same food, the only variant and potential culprit is the milkshake. Either the container was handled by an unclean or unwell individual or the milkshake prep area is improperly cleaned and/or contaminated. I suspect Listeria or E Coli and will see if I can our doctor to test for food poisoning.

Regardless several hours later we all had diarrhea. My husband had to call out sick the next day stomach cramps and diarrhea. I have been throwing up with non stop diarrhea. My children did not go to school the following day becuase of diarrhea. Aqudica needs to seriously check their preped food in there cools like e 4 hours for public safety. For the last 2 days it hurt so bad it feel like all my organs were going to explode. The product comes in 20-ounce clear plastic bag marked with product information on top and bar-coded part number 5005-8723 on the bottom and was purchased prior to 04/11/2024.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered during an audit that a production employee used an egg wash instead of water to apply sunflower or oat ingredients on external product’s surface.
Production of the product has been suspended until CT Consumer Protection and the company are certain that the problem has been corrected.
Consumers who have purchased 20 ounce loafs of Roly Poly multigrain bread are urged to return the product to the place of purchase for full refund.
