“I just ate a couple hrs ago. The food was very nasty cold .. broccoli n chicken taste spoiled along with the shrimp .. the fruit taste spoiled as well.. the lady who cooks the food was seen using the bathroom n not washing her hands.. the food was cold. I seen a little girl putting noodles back into... See Morethe pan with her bare hands.. i feel like that place was very unsanitary.. and the tables were noy wiped down. So people if you r eating their you are eatinv poison unsanitary place.. by the way they didnt even have soap in the bathroom to wash your hands.. so who know how many infested bacterial hand n germs are floating around that restua6.. i even told the lady how her food tastes nasty n she got mad.. that place shouldn't be running at zll The food taste spoiled the vegetables had a slimmy film to it.. the soups were covered with crusted like u can tell it was sitting their for hours.. shrimp taste like rotten fish.. that place needs to be investigated.. i use to work at sparrow as cook so i know the health code violations n theres was plenty where that place needs to be shut down See Less”

“The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) along with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is investigating an outbreak of Salmonella infections involving Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia. The outbreak appears to be ongoing, as recent illnesses continue to be reported to PHAC.
As o... See Moref February 18, 2021, there have been 57 laboratory-confirmed cases of Salmonella Enteritidis illness investigated in the following provinces: Newfoundland and Labrador (25), and Nova Scotia (32). 19 individuals have been hospitalized and no deaths have been reported.
Between October and December 2020, CFIA issued food recall warnings for a variety of eggs distributed in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador. The recalled eggs are now past their shelf-life and are no longer available for purchase. The CFIA is continuing its food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
It is possible that more recent illnesses may be reported in the outbreak because there is a period of time between when a person becomes ill and when the illness is reported to public health officials. For this outbreak, the illness reporting period is between three and six weeks.
