headaches.It was definitely food poisoning, I then slightly have Digestible pain relievers were taken and fever juice hoping it would stay in the stomach, it only got better the next day. Please be careful with seafood and other foods that are not freshly prepared in hotels, as there are no hygiene regulations here and it is also not checked. I think that the food will be used several times and will not comply with the cold chain.

After eating at the buffet I became violently ill with horrible stomach pains, diarrhea and chills. Had to see a dr. Got expensive medicine and enzymes. They do not care and say I’m the only one. Nobody even checks to see if you’re ok after you see the dr.

came back feeling sluggish and head colds - they were okay but my husband and I ate a special meal on the beach and speciality resteraunts and real creative foods at the buffets Plus all the drinks and cocktails we could enjoy but they never got us drunk so we often wondered... and wow, we were punished. There was also NO wildlife on the resort ... we saw one lizard baby in our bedroom that died quickly as we tried to help it outside and two cockroaches jumped and flew out in the outdoor bathrooms (hiding in toilet paper roles) plus a property cat but otherwise, absolutely no wildlife in a week makes me wonder. When we got home, the throwing up, diarrhea, fevers, aches, pains, flu like symptoms began and I even had wild hallucinations/dreams. It lasted over 8 days but then lingered ... no one should go to the DR ...

Stayed at the Iberostar in Punta Cana last August and ate solely at the hotel. Both my husband and I became violently ill while we were there and once we returned. Diagnosed with severe travelers diarrhea when we returned to the US.
