on December 23 2022 my wife bought a bag of General Mills Lucky Charms cereal the version in the bag not the box and i ate a bowl of it for breakfast every morning and about half way through the bag i started to feel ill after... See More eating a bowl of it my stomach began to hurt and feel strange then i began feeling like something was bubbling its way back up my throat so i ran for the toilet the moment i got to the toilet i started gagging and then i started throwing up something that was colorful and tasted like the lucky charms i had just ate i puked up the whole bowl i had ate after that i was too scared to eat any more of it thinking something in me didn't agree with the cereal, then a week later on December 30 2023 she bought a bag of General Mills Reese's Puffs cereal which i started eating a bowl for breakfast every morning cause i was still to scared to eat the lucky charms cereal by January 10 2023, 30 minutes after finishing a good bowl of the Reese's Puffs cereal i started to feel that same feeling again like the one i felt after eating the Lucky Charms cereal thinking maybe if i just sit here a minute or 2 maybe it will go away then a minute later i felt the same something bubbling its way up my throat feeling so i ran to the toilet passing by my son running to the toilet once again the moment i got to it all i can say is a scene from the Exorcist movie i projectile puking out Reese's Puffs cereal all in the toilet the whole bowl of Reese's Puffs i ate and now its January the 12 2023 and everything i eat i end up throwing it back up and another symptom has has been happening i have loads of gas (i fart a lot. now Lucky Charms and Reese's Puffs are both my favorite cereals my kids love them too lucky my kids didn't get a chance to eat some before I got sick from the cereal cause they were going to school and eating there each of those times but i have something to say to General Mills cereal company "you made me a loyal costumer terrified to eat anymore of your cereal brands... Please find the cause for these illnesses and fix it... Just like Camel cigarettes & bud light beer, the day is coming when it will be illegal to advertise cereals to children or to allow children to live with adults who feed sugar and/or wheat containing cereals to minors.

Norovirus outbreak in San Luis Obispo County

San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department is investigating a Norovirus outbreak linked to a restaurant located in the north of the county. 97 people have become ill as part of the outbreak, which was first reported on May 11. According to the news, the SLO County Public Health Epidemiologist, said that the Public Health Department investigated the outbreak and identified a restaurant as the exposure source. The department began working to limit the spread of the virus by promoting “mass cleaning and disinfection” of the restaurant. The restaurant has been cleaned three times since the outbreak was first reported.
At this time, it is unclear what products were involved in the outbreak or what company was involved. No further information on the outbreak has been released.
Norovirus is very contagious and is easily transmitted from person to person most through the oral/fecal route. Considering that hand sanitizer does NOT work against this virus, it is important to wash your hands with soap frequently. Use bleach to clean and disinfect surfaces.
