Approximately 10 to 12 hours after eating Portillo's chocolate cake purchased Dec. 28, 2025 I experienced cramps, stomach discomfort, diarrhea and vomiting. Thankfully, 14 hours after the onset I was feeling better.

Italian Beef Causes Illness

My brother and I went here both had the exact same meal the Italian beef with hot peppers. We spent a good portion of the night and morning sitting on the toliet with bad diarrhea. It was the only time we ate food from the same place, and we both experienced the same thing.
