“Ate Progresso New England Clam Chowder soup 11/30/2020. After a few hours, I got a headache and really bad heartburn, then vomiting. After each episode of heartburn, I would vomit. Did this for about 16 hours, vomiting every couple of hours (7 vomits total). That finally passed and then had trouble... See Morebreathing. The following day I had a red coloration on my back of my left leg from my thigh to my heel that hurt, started out feeling like a bruise and then became very painful as the day went on. The following day it was even more painful and my ankle and foot became so swollen I couldn’t stand on it. The fourth day the swelling pain is less, it’s slowly getting less red and so that’s where we’re at right now. I believe I had shellfish poisoning from the soup because that was all I had eaten that night. See Less”

“Went by myself to the restaurant about 4:30pm on Friday the 27th. Ordered green tea to drink, deep fried zucchini sticks, a lamb gyro with tzatziki sauce, white onion, and tomato, and a small Greek salad comprised of tomato, cucumber, green pepper, kalamata olives, olive oil, and feta cheese. The ve... See Moreggie based dishes were fine but the first bite of the gyro I took felt off somehow and though I took a few more bites I was hesitant about eating it because it felt wrong. Left about 5:30pm and went home. Symptoms started manifesting around 7:45 pm with nausea, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. Vomiting began sometime around 9. Symptoms persisted throughout the night, vomiting subsided around 3:45am 12/28 but diarrhea continued along with a headache from violent vomiting and dehydration, hot and cold flashes, and achy joints. Diarrhea finally fully subsided around 5pm 12/28, remained fatigued until about 4pm 12/29. I assume it was due to the gyro because that was the only dish I ordered that gave me bad vibes once I had a bit and the meat looked VERY pink as I was mopping up vomit and disposing of the regurgitated food bits, everything else had been perfectly fine (but got thrown up anyway). “The CFIA announced the recall of Chen-Chen brand Dried Apricot North Almond Seeds products by Chevalier Star Trading Co. Ltd because it contains excessive amygdalin which may cause acute cyanide poisoning. There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
