Went to KFC on Lyons Ave in Irvington between 6-7pm on 4/6/24. Should have known from the poor attitude of the girl working the drive thru that I should move on. I ordered three piece chicken strips for my four-year-old granddaughter. She didn’t want them so I
ate two of them. One bite into the third, I was like this tastes funny and the texture feels weird. I started feeling nauseous around 1am. At 4:30am, I was awakened with stomach cramps and ran to the bathroom. I first vomited and then the diarrhea came. Went back to bed, only to be awakened two hours later. More vomiting and diarrhea, but worse. I took Imodium. Had one more bout and the diarrhea subsided but the nausea lasted all day.

I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich on Saturday, April 20, 2024. It was my daughter's birthday and she had a free coupon. I was visiting my two children at their college. I am an out of state resident. After a few hours, I was feeling nauseated
and I had abdominal pain in my stomach. In the middle of the night around 2 am, I started feeling a tightness in my stomach again. I immediately ran to the bathroom and then I had diarrhea and I started vomiting. Later on this day, I had the chills and a fever. This is definitely symptoms of food poisoning.
04/24 update: I am still having watery diarrhea, a fever, chills, abdominal pain in my stomach, and feeling nauseated. I cannot hold solid foods down, just fluids. I sleep a lot. I have missed two days of work so far. This was my first time eating at a Jersey Mike's. It was my daughter's birthday and she had points there. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in collaboration with the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal, has issued a recall for ginger vinaigrette prepared and sold by Boucherie Grinder located at 1654 Notre-Dame Street West, Montreal, QC, Canada. The recall is due to the
undeclared presence of wheat (gluten) and sulphites in the product. To date, no allergic reactions associated with the consumption of this product have been reported to MAPAQ.
