On July 19th, my husband, myself and two friends ate from the prepared foods bar at Whole Foods on Lane Ave. Items consumed: chicken salad sandwich, chicken curry masala, and creamy chicken salad. All four of us experienced 7-10 days of extreme nausea, diarrhea and some vomitting. I seemed to be the worst affected and went to the doctor, who prescribed a strong antibiotic, which got me on the road to health. My husband lost 10 lbs and I lost 5 lbs. I called and reported it to Whole Foods. It seems impossible that we were the only people affected. Because it lasts so long, I think some people are probably inclined to think they have a virus (vs. food-borne), but I have contracted campylobacter before (11 years ago in China) and know how long it can take bacterial infections to subside. Whole Foods, please follow your basic ServSafe protocols and make sure your chicken is properly cooked! | Síntomas: Diarrea, Náusea, Vómitos
