JFE Franchising Inc. has voluntarily recalled a variety of guacamole and salsa products due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The products were distributed in Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.

The recalled products include:

- Guacamole & Pico de Gallo Combo – 16 oz
- Guacamole Chunky Medium – 14 oz
- Guacamole Chunky Mild – 14 oz
- Guacamole Blender Mild – 12 oz
- Salsa Medium – 16 oz
- Salsa Mild – 16 oz
- Pico de Gallo Classic Hot – 14 oz
- Pico de Gallo Classic Medium – 14 oz
- Pico de Gallo Classic Mild – 14 oz
- Dice Pepper Tri-Blend – 8 oz
- Dice Pepper With White Onion – 7 oz
- Fajita Mix, Hot – 11 oz
- Fajita Mix, Mild – 11 oz
- Diced Jalapeño – 7 oz
- Chopped Cilantro With White Onion – 5 oz
- Butternut Squash Cubes – 12 oz

The products, packaged in plastic clam-shell containers, have sell-by dates ranging from July 9, 2024, to July 26, 2024.

The issue was discovered via email notification and the recall process is currently ongoing. The recall was classified as Class I, indicating a situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.

In case you are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, it is important to report it.
