Kusingero Ltd is recalling Kusingero brand Korean Sweet Chilli and Kusingero brand Siomai Pork Shrimp due to the presence of undeclared allergens (gluten, wheat) and undeclared phenylalanine. The products are sold at certain retail outlets in Whangarei and Auckland.

The recalled products are:
- Kusingero brand Korean Sweet Chilli (195g), plastic bottle, All batches and dates.
- Kusingero brand Siomai Pork Shrimp (360g), plastic package, All batches and dates.

The products are sold at the following retail outlets:
- Coco Asian Variety, 8 John Street, Whangarei
- Lampire Mart, 28/691 Manukau Road, Auckland
- Smiley Dairy Mount Roskill, 1278 Dominion Road, Auckland

People with a gluten or wheat allergy or intolerance or people with phenylketonuria disorder should not consume these products. Customers with a gluten or wheat allergy or intolerance or customers with phenylketonuria disorder should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The Waffle Cone Swirl ice cream... See More contains wheat and soy, which are not declared on the Chocolate Peanut Butter label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat or soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. No more than 1,440 cartons of the ice cream in question were distributed only in Safeway grocery stores and only in the state of Washington and parts of northern Idaho.

The product in question is packaged with a Tillamook Chocolate Peanut Butter carton sidewall but with a Tillamook Waffle Cone Swirl lid. The affected lot codes TL-41-80 and BB041324 (which means best-by date of 04/13/2024) are printed on the bottom of the carton.

Tillamook became aware of the mislabeling issue when a consumer notified the company that Waffle Cone Swirl ice cream was found inside the Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream carton. No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to date.

Customers with a wheat or soy allergy or sensitivity who have purchased the affected product are urged not to consume the product and dispose of it or return it to their place of purchase for a full refund. This recall is being made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department is investigating a Norovirus outbreak linked to a restaurant located in the north of the county. 97 people have become ill as part of the outbreak, which was first reported on May 11.
