Metro Plus Jonquière is recalling chicken egg rolls and chicken balls with cherry sauce due to undeclared wheat, milk, soy, and sulfites. These products were sold exclusively at Metro Plus Jonquière in Saguenay, Quebec.AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
PRODUCT: "CHICKEN EGG ROLL"
- Allergen: Wheat, Milk, and Sulfites
PRODUCT: "CHICKEN BALLS IN CHERRY SAUCE"
- Allergen: Wheat, Milk, and Soy
The affected products were packaged in variable sizes in aluminum trays with clear plastic lids. All lots lacking allergen labeling are included in the recall.
The recall is classified as Class I and was initiated on January 29, 2026.
