Stew Leonard’s Sliced Chicken and Chicken Salad - recalled due to Undeclared Milk

9 months ago source stewleonards.com

Recall notice

Norwalk, Connecticut, United States

Stew Leonard's, a Connecticut-based supermarket chain, is voluntarily recalling eight of its chicken products due to potential undeclared milk content. The products were sold between August 2022 and January 29, 2024, in the deli department of seven locations: Danbury, Norwalk, and Newington, CT; East Meadow, Farmingdale, and Yonkers, N.Y.; and Paramus, N.J. Only the Cape Cod Chicken Salad and the Lite Chicken Salad were sold at Stew Leonard’s in Norwalk, CT. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled products include the brand's Sliced and Shaved Chicken, Sliced and Shaved Buffalo Chicken, Chicken Salad, Chicken Salad Sub Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Salad, Boom Boom Chicken Salad, Cape Cod Chicken Salad, and Lite Chicken Salad. The latter two were only sold in the Norwalk, CT location.

Customers who have purchased these products should take the product back to Stew Leonard’s customer service for a full refund.

In case you experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
