Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Headache, other: horrendous sharp pains in my stomach and abdomenSuspected source: Absolutely sure it was a pint of Ben and Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream (which HAD been my favorite until this happened)that I had eaten yesterday early evening. I was convinced it was some sort of food poisoning. We had gotten two pints at a Walmart Neighborhood Market that day.
Onset: Less than 4 hours
Duration: 12 to 24 hours
Additional information: My husband and I ate the same things yesterday EXCEPT for this pint of ice cream. I started having sharp pains and nausea fairly soon and got much worse over time. The pain was horrible and my mouth started watering as I became more ill. I would have bet I had appendicitis but have learned NOT to go to an emergency room in FL since I have no insurance and my husband usually thinks I am exagerating when I say I am having bad pain.
I was unable to get comfortable while trying to sleep and ended up on the toilet and throwing up into the bathroom wastebasket. Really, really gross. No doubt about what and why I was throwing up. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Headache
